We are talking about 2027 though, so yes, BLC 2027 is an outlier and should have the most Capital players because they are very talented. The BLC goalie might be the best 2027 goalie in region.
And she is going to Good Counsel next year which will be interesting to see how that works out for current goalies there. In the finals the GC goalie only had 3 saves all game and gave up 12 goals.

Why so much negativity on Stars? For a top 30 team, they get a lot of attention on this board.

Stars is 39. Up from the 70s last year.
BLC is holding steady in the top ten.
Pride is 24. Down from top 10 over the past year.
Pride finished 14th last year, Im not sure they were ever top-10, if they were it was pre-NGLL games. Having seen them a number of times, I think they are in top-20, I expect them to rise. They just have a few games that make you wonder what happened.
Only beat Rebels 8-6?

There are some solid players on ALL the teams that will make the Capital teams. Talented players will show up for tryouts from Charlottesville and Richmond. TOP DMV players will go to Baltimore teams to tryout as well.

2026 is an insanely strong year for goalies.

You can't make any broad statements about BLC because each grad year has been a completely different situation. Prior to 2025, the BLC girls merged with stars in middle school. The 2025s were the 1st year where that didn't happen and they kept their teams in tact through 8th grade.
BLC, Stars and Pride are the primary feeders to capital, but how many from each club varies year to year. In the 2027 grad year, stars is by far the weakest team of the 3 and should in turn expect to earn the least number of capital spots. BLC will probably take more spots, but that is specific to that year, not a generality. There probably won't be 1 BLC girl to make capital 2028, because the talent has left already to other maryland or VA teams.

The goalie situation for 26 was very political as is everything in this sport. CLC took goalies from privates when the BLC goalie was likely much better.

Why would a 28 play up on the 27 Pride team? I don't think that is the case
If history is any predictor of the future most of Pride's strongest 27 players will move to Capital. Pride is still playing catchup in the recruiting game. The 25 and 26 CLC B teams had over 10 Pride players. CLC B teams play in the top brackets at tournaments and due to the exodus of the top players the Pride Black teams are several levels below. Maybe this year will break the trend?
This 27 class is different as BLC, Pride, Stars, Next Level and other teams have, individually, some strong players.
Capital has always been a mix of players from these teams. 2027 class will be no different.
How many grad years is a BLC a top-10? How many is Pride a top-20? Its a very strong group of 2027 players.
This is the first year that BLC is a top 10 team. A first.
They will take the top players from BLC, Pride, Stars ect. BLC will most likely have players tryout for the top MD teams as well.
