I'm the first PP, and I just wanted to fix my typo....

Brabrand told the Board it WOULD NOT work for staffing (to allow every teacher and student to choose virtual vs in person).

But I think we are in agreement. Brabrand was trying to keep schools open in fall 2020.

He might have been "trying" but he gave in. He also gave in to ALL their requests to cancel or delay school. Recall that even virtual school was delayed by weeks that Fall. WHY? Was it a surprise to any of them that school (virtual or not) had to open its doors at the end of August? But they all spent the summer doing who knows what and took away even more days from the students of FCPS for "planning". The entire thing was a joke and Brabrand may have had ok intentions but he was way too nice for his own good and folded to them at every turn.

That's the problem right there. It doesn't matter who the superintendent is. The reality is that the current SB is largely a collection of clowns who politically posture for themselves and don't care one ounce about the actual school kids.

Her Oh boy seemed to be clealry explained as she then when on to say that she had to follow that. It sounded as if she admired what Omeish said or at least was impressed with how she said it. Not oh boy, I disagree.

We know that the NAACP wrote their letter trying to stop the board from picking Dr Reid. Dr Logsn must have know that Dr Reid was the chosen candidate. That's why she withdrew....to save face for her Omaha constituents.

Exactly. And to the PP who said there was no one else and she was a body to fill the slot. They said they had 72 candidates so that’s more BS.
