It is the sunset of the Cleveland Park NIMBY era.
Yesterday: This isn’t about politics and ideology, this is about the law and ensuring equal representation of SMDs.
Today: Haha! Suck it Boomer NIMBYs!
LOL.
You know that Task Force redistricting Tsar Bob Ward mocks them, posting as “Cleveland Park Boomer” among his various Twitter handles and personas?
You have no proof that it is Ward. Stop making stuff up.
Oh, it’s Ward alright. One of his many social media outlets.
Munching popcorn until Jeff's IP records are subponead for the libel suit.

This,
Shameful that Goulet would sign on to this garbage.
He really showed his colors in enthusiastically embracing an effort that would have diluted the voices of virtually everyone else in Ward 3 in order to placate a couple of hundred NIMBYs in Cleveland Park.
Explain how keeping a neighborhood together dilutes virtually everyone else in Ward 3?
ANC3D was absolutely massive - 11 freaking SMDs - on Mendelsohn's map. ANC3B was also ridiculously large.
ANCs - not SMDs - are afforded equal 'great weight' in the eyes of city agencies. The proposal really screwed over ANC3D and ANC3B.

Isn’t appointing three people from the same vested interest group and empowering them to pursue their own agenda an end-run on what is supposed to be a valid process.
I assume this is about the Woodley Park resident, the Cleveland Park resident, and the McLean Gardens resident (who actually doesn't have any known connections to Cleveland Park Smart Growth) who applied and were accepted on to the Task Force.
It's unclear why the CPHS folks did not avail themselves of the opportunity to apply, nor why Mendelson is now carrying their water when he could have appointed CPHS members to the Task Force, including Nancy Macwood, over Cheh's objections.

Cheh and Silverman are such class acts, with their personal attacks on the chair and other councilmembers. Cheh can’t let the door hit her fast enough on the way out.
They called out his duplicity. How is that a personal attack? He was being duplicitous.
Y'all are snowflakes if you think that was a personal attack. How about next time, don't try an obvious end-run on a valid process.
