You should move to Arlington, and hurry up and pick a house before the signs come down so you don’t have a scary neighbor.
Some people there went for Youngkin but fewer than other places.
Your safest bet is to find a majority black neighborhood in any county because black people went for McAuliffe at around 90%.

Or…could there possibly be moderates on both sides that could agree on like 75% of the issues? I’m an R (not the poster) and have plenty of Dem friends. Good friends. Family friends. Travel together. The whole thing. While I didn’t vote for Trump, I have voted R prob 80% of my life, including the last cycle. I have no idea if my Dem friends have ever voted R and I don’t really care. Won’t change how I feel about them either way.
More to life than politics. And devise, dramatic, sensationalized takes don’t change anyone opinions, it only hardens the side that each person is on.
Same. I'm an R, did not vote for Trump, was horrified by January 6th and hope the insurrectionists all do jail time. I have a lot of respect for D's like Abigail Spanberger and Elaine Luria. I also have a hatred of lawn signs that spans the political spectrum, particularly the "in this house" ones, though I am tempted to get the Michael Clayton version.

I heard soooo many post election interviews where people claimed that they were pro choice and still voted R because they believed in other R campaign points wheras there D friends simply would not entertain any R talking points even if they had been D talking points in previous elections.
I think the quote a few times was "I am not worried about abortion being overturned in the next few years but I am worried about A, B and C and McAuliff kept trying to scare me about my pro choice vote."
