I don't think we can see them. Only TWB Company. But has anyone run into any problems with this yet? It all seems a little haphazard.

Happy to report the 2 p.m. show was exhilarating for my first time Nutcracker performer girls - bee and snow angel.

Oh the lure of the party girl! I feel like every kid wants that role!
PP whose kid is at a different studio but is overly invested in this thread - I am curious why this role is so desirable! Is it purely for the costumes or do the party girls get more stage time? Some of the dance moms at our studio were comparing notes about roles and I got the impression their DDs were mostly interested in certain things from a hair/costume perspective.
They get a good bit of stage time and pretty dresses. I asked my DD why she wanted to be a party girl, and she said "because its the best" very descriptive 11 year old!
The costumes, the curls, and the scene is a lot of fun. It also doesn't help that it seems so exclusive too and therefore, "the best", it's the only role Julie's daughter has played and many Party Girls play the role multiple years in a row, skipping over the Snow Angel and Solider roles all together... So unfortunately, my previously Snow Angel daughter feels like she's already been regulated to the group who will never get to be a party girl. Doesn't stop her from hoping though!
I didn't see Julies daughters name in the program this year, does she not dance with the school anymore.
