Anybody know the proper VHSL record for points in a season? It seems like not a ton of teams post their stats, so I’m curious how many great seasons are just lost to history.

Gainesville parent here. I wish it was that close

Ended up 20-0, but could have easily been way way worse. Indy wasn't even trying to run the score.

Agree here, the last 4 min of the game seemed to one Indy perimeter passing

This is heartbreaking news for the Saxons. Injuries have really killed this team.

Actually, I would say the goalie having six games where he had doubled digits scored against killed you guys. If the team was any good you could’ve played through the injury’s and kept it close with Yorktown either of the times you played them. I mean seriously, would your injured attack man have really stopped Yorktown from putting 18 goals on you guys?

Yes he would’ve. Langley would have beat Yorktown by a decent margin both times.

He would have score 8 goals in the games against Yorktown, while locking off #3.

Hilarious... Langley never gives up how great they could have been if X,Y, and Z happened.

“Officially”, hmmm. To the league office?
Must be the same Langley kid posting crap that 8 was gonna be back this year.

Weak.

The biggest tell is the obvious stupidity of "officially ruled questionable" regarding a HS player. There is no such thing.

Are the regional teams posted somewhere? Some schools at least have highlighted players on Instagram, so the picks are in.

I agree, probably a Langley player trying to “fake out” the Madison coach as if he’s on here to get his scout. They’ve shown a history of it with number 8, as stated above, so it doesn’t shock me that they’re trying to gain some sort of advantage again.

That stinks, but if he's going to have a D1 career it would be borderline criminal for the coaches to let him risk aggravating a concussion for a regional semifinal game.

No one cares. Look at the rosters of the top lacrosse schools. Plenty of private school kids from the DC area, but no kids from VA public schools.

You're fighting over scraps.

You cared enough to come and comment, which makes you the biggest loser of all.
