No one cares. Look at the rosters of the top lacrosse schools. Plenty of private school kids from the DC area, but no kids from VA public schools.
You're fighting over scraps.

It is not just simply adding a clock it would require switching to NCAA rules there is more to it than just a clock. Officials would need to be updated. Clearing rules change. Private schools play NCAA rules so it is possible.
Private schools do not "play NCAA rules". Neither the ISL or the WCAC follow recent NCAA rule changes on Green Cards between restraining line, releasable and unreleasable cards, etc. Shot clock only major differences I see from VHSL 6A in terms of rules, etc.
Green card? ISL? We are having a different conversation.

2. You need to purchase Shot clocks for both ends of the field, and getting every program under VHSL to do that would be an issue.
