BF played a close game, but how about some made props to the Patriots for winning the game and playing on Saturday for an actual chance win their third title in 4 years. Or we can keep talking up what BF may do in the future instead of what's actually happening right now.
Chill out. Nobody is taking anything away from YT for the win. Doesn’t mean we can’t give prop to BF for playing a competitive game and the goalie for a great performance. It doesn’t have to be zero-sum.
This is coming from a Madison booster.
Focus on Cosby please.

Beat Robinson and Oakton also. They had 1 weekend blip all year long. Only thing that concerns me is pressure on ball and speed which they haven’t seen much of in last 6-7 weeks.
But…But…But….the Mag 7! 4 in a row! Pahleeze. Stop with the excuses. Win the State title or sit down and keep quiet.
Regardless of their path to states, you can’t possibly argue that they aren’t one of the top 4 teams. If you think your team is better you should have reached out and scheduled them.
BF is Top 10 not Top 4. Not by a long shot.
This is a bad take. Beat Madison in regular season at Madison and just lost by 2 to the defending champions. Name 2 other better teams. Langley is the only one you have a case for.
Agree that BF is way better than top 10. I would put them somewhere in the 3-6 range, grouped with Oakton, Langley, and South Lakes.

Anonymous wrote:battlefield made state final 2 years in a row, then got bounced in semis these last two years. That “something” is missing recently. Hope they can figure it out moving forward.Anonymous wrote:Battlefield parents are a number, but credit to their girls on the field. They stood in there toe-to-toe with the champs and showed that they are elite. No 4 trophies for their fabulous freshmen, but I reckon they will get one before they are done. Replacing ASU next year will be tough though.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Why can’t VHSL schedule a state final for the biggest schools in Virginia at either UVA, George Mason, JMU, or some other actual stadium instead of at a school that is arguably smaller than the two schools playing in the final Class 6 game of the season? There are more than 50 class 6 schools and this is the best VHSL could come up with? What happens to the gate money we pay to get in? Most doesn’t go back to the host school.
Anyone know why they ALWAYS have it down state? Has to be some money making aspect if it's VHSL decision-making. Cost less to pay high school for state final down there? They get kickbacks on VA Beach hotels?
