Isn't that one solved? Or do you mean, when Laundrie is found?

Can they do that? I think COD for anyone is public record, on their death certificate. Doesn't mean it's posted online, but there is a paper record that is public. Meaning- a reporter will go access it and post it online.

I think this is right, can anyone speak to CA law specifically?

Looks like it will be HS by process of elimination at this point. Why would the family not want that released? And which family's wishes would control? I believe the Sheriff's Office will make an announcement.

In the meantime, there are some interesting comments on the SO FB page re: close calls others have had on the Savage Lundy trail in heat.

Heat stroke does not explain why the closed the trail and the forest (the day before all national forests were closed due to fire risk) due to hazards.

Had they determined a cause of death by that day?

The WS troll is back again to regale us with boring criticism of another site. Thought you were bounced?

I wonder if this case is just going to drop off the radar and it's heat stroke, and LE knows it at this point, and since that's kind of boring considering all the media attention it got initially... it just kind of faded away? I'm still curious!!

I declare I'm so tired of overuse on this forum of the term "dock puppeting." Can we mix it up a bit.

I'm also tired of waiting to find out the cause of death. OMG this is taking forever, I couldn't imagine what the parents are going through now.
