Why is the Madison Cosby game not today? I thought they were played at the same time in theory i guess

Star of the game for BF was their goalie. I believe the scoreboard save tally was 13. Regardless of the save total, she was a major factor in keeping it close.

big games require big players to make big plays at big times. Looking for a foul instead of finishing a play can cost you. Ask Battlefield.

Really competitive game. BF came out punching and went up 4-1. Yorktown started slow but outscored BF 11-6 after the first 8 minutes or so. BF kept fighting back and had a chance to pull within 1 with a little over a minute left.

Refs let them play at the end, and some fouls went uncalled, but it went both ways so the game was decided on the field.

battlefield made state final 2 years in a row, then got bounced in semis these last two years. That “something” is missing recently. Hope they can figure it out moving forward.
