Is SA Sofiane? He's doing the top teams for 2 oldest boys teams.

Yes, I was asking feedback on SOF

My reply on feedback request was about Sofian. He knows the game and communicates well with players and it shows in games.

Stevie aka Israel on the other hand, believes we should “trust the process” rather than what we are seeing at our games and tournaments.

Without guaranteed slots the pathway are just a fake marketing gimmick. A kid trying out for fvu from Valor has no better chance than a random rec kid. There is zero advantage. Its meaningless.

Valor feeds fvu so of course valor would release him in this case. Last year we had to wait because of contracts for several coaches.

He announced he was coaching fvu over a month before Valor was kicked out of NVA and went begging to FVU.

False. Valor was not kicked out of NVA. They left because they wanted to stay ECNL.

What is their path to ECNL now? Won't it stop at RL?

Valor joined a million other teams to feed into FVU for ecnl

To you, 6=1,000,000?
With gross exaggerations like this, one would be stupid to believe anything posted by the haters.

Fighting for a spot on one ECNL team from two clubs (Loudoun and Valor) vs SIX CLUBS now means your u-little Ben or Becky has next to no chance making ECNL now coming up through Valor is the point. Valor is no longer a realistic pathway to ECNL.

At least this point was made without hyperbole.

Still, the previous argument was that there was no pathway. Now it shifts to six equates to “no chance” and not “realistic”. It’s like you’re just determined to dislike this club. About 700 families are content. Sure some will leave after the season. But the majority will not. You haters are the minority.

A lot of kids at Valor would not make the equivalent or higher level team at another club.

Have these alliances ever actually helped any kid that wouldn't on their own go to a practice or a tryout and make the team?

Nope. With no guaranteed slot per team, these are all fake pathways and alliances. Merely a means to gain field access. That’s why the recruits for 2013 Union is made up of all McLean girls who are no longer part of the “alliance”. They will take whoever they want from wherever they like.

Short answer : Yes

he currently coaches second team where his daughter is. questions is "will he bring up his daughter to first team?"

Hard hard pass. Thanks for the info.

He has a lot of ambition for the club and does not always achieve his objectives, but he is trying. His biggest challenge is communications with player and parent. He will engage when you go out of the way to extract information, but you need to change your expectations for how he operates vs expecting him to tailor his communications to the player or parent needs. Most coaches seem to struggle with communications so this may be par for the course.

If this is the guy who went by "Stevie A__" at Great Falls and then changed his name to something else at Valor, lots of GFR parents posted negative reviews on him last year. Do a search on this forum for his name "Stevie".

I didn't see much negative things about him after searching him here....

"IA" the coach they are gushing about, only coaches two U-little teams. So two different parents out of maybe 24 families total just happened to be on here mere minutes after the request for information? Fishy.

Its just more clunky Valor boostering from their hapless social media guy. Try spacing your posts our a little more, man and throwing in a few negatives as well.

If Valor reps were really on here, wouldn't we at least have an answer for if the 2015 lead coach has a daughter playing on the team he coaches?

Yes. If he did NOT have a daughter on the team, they would have posted that ASAP to clear up the negative rumor. Since they are *crickets*. its probably true

Or... they don't really lurk here. This whole rumor started because someone commented that he is a good communicator because he has kids. I sure hope that person who provided the initial feedback chimes in. But if for some chance Valor is actually reading this when you come out with the full coaching slate there should be an asterisk next to every coach that has one of their own kids on a team they coach.

Oh they definitely do. Sometimes their posts are incredibly obvious. Like "two different parents" chiming in one minute apart to talk about how great some coach is.
