They were never scrappy and striving. The show was always unrealistic about where they lived, clothes they could afford etc. This show also normalized people without much money needing higher end clothing. ie admins at work spending at least $400 on shoes when they can barely afford rent.

Did anyone think Carrie was really rubbing it into Lisette's face with the apartment? "Get out, we need to eat sushi now;" "I gave you a great deal, the ceiling water stain is YOUR issue now," etc. It happened several times over the last 2 episodes. If she resented the low price so much, she shouldn't have sold it.

YES to 9, wxcept it should not be a heart attack but like a panic attack about taking on so much household responsibilty and trey is the cardiologist on call who is like…idk what would trey be like now??
