She should have just worn a plain black dress on GF, and her husband should have worn a black suit, not a navy one.

Why black and not navy? Aren’t they basically interchangeable?

You're supposed to wear black on Good Friday - at least that's what I was always taught. I could be wrong.

I was taught any dark color you would wear to a funeral is fine. His outfit is far more appropriate than hers.

That’s just because he is a man wearing a suit. It would be very hard for him to go wrong.

It's very hard for a thin, wealthy woman with access to resources/help to go wrong and yet...Usha always finds a way!

I’m not going to say Usha gets it right but to compare her to a man wearing a suit to church is lame.

Why are her arrival and sightseeing outfits all-white? We know Lady MacVance is bizarrely entitled, do we think the all-white everywhere around Rome is a power trip?

She personally looks fantastic but that bathing suit is hideous. I think maybe I'd like it in a different color but I agree with whoever said the bottom looks like a diaper. And I usually love high waisted on tall/thin women. Not sure what's going on here.

It's the combination of high waisted and full coverage bottom. I expect something high waisted to have a little less coverage - this bottom is MORE than full coverage. It's like board short-level coverage. Which, again, she's surfing and is appropriate, but it looks odd.

Agree. Also no hair extensions/cenrr part/waves, bloated lips, heavy makeup. Not a fan of their politics but she looks sooo much better in these photos than the rest of them ever do. Always so dressy and over-the-top. Clothes and shoes look comfortable but flattering! They both look good.

Agree and think the two white outfits are nice. The Good Friday mass dress is pretty awful. I do wonder what she’s thinking at that mass. I think it’s mostly in Latin and Good Friday mass is a looooong one — I think it’s then followed by a procession from the Vatican to palladium hill but maybe they didn’t join for that. As a non Catholic and non Christian whose husband converted after they were married with kids, she probably feels a little bait and switched.

The Good Friday dress is too big. If it were tailored to fit properly, it would not look so bad.

This is the problem with so many of her clothes. She needs a good tailor.

Um... I'm not an Ivanka/Trump fan... But she looks amazing here. And not just about looks; she seems genuinely happy. Under all the usual makeup and cosmetic enhancements she has natural beauty. A shame she and so many others cover that up.

It's an ugly two piece on someone with an ugly soul, but appropriate for surfing.

She should've done something closer to this:

or even this:

Neither is perfect but at least they would look less slovenly than what she chose. Of course with her refusal to tailor her clothes, I guess even the most beautiful dress would look sloppy.

This looks like what I wore to play Jack's Mother in my 7th Grade drama club's production of Into the Woods. Except it was white and burgundy.

The dress is cute with the belt and boots. Usha made it dowdy.

I like the dress too, but don’t think it suits her shape or coloring.
