We don’t know what their relationship was like with the Petito family, or how they were being approached. As long as we’re assuming that the Laundries were stone cold, why not assume that the Petitos were threatening them? We don’t know enough about any of this to pass well informed judgment.

Sure we do. Dr Phil did an interview with the family. They said at first they were fearful for the couple. They thought that they were both missing. They repeatedly tried to reach out to Brian‘s family and couldn’t get a hold of anyone. No one would return their calls.

They absolutely knew something was wrong. Their son drive out west with his live-in fiancé and drove home without her. Something was definitely wrong. Even if he said they broke up, they didn’t want to know where she was? They didn’t think anything of all the calls and texts from her parents asking if they had heard anything? They didn’t think to respond “well our kid is here, no clue where your kid is”??

Who knows? He could have told them anything. He could have said that Gabby went to visit her friends in California and asked him to drive the van back. He could have said that her parents had been harassing them about coming back, that Gabby stopped taking their calls, and that now they want to pressure the Laundrie parents, too. It could have been quite a while before they realized that Gabby was legitimately missing.

There are a limitless number of possibilities of how everything went down, not all of which mean that the Laundries are cold blooded killer accomplices.

None of those excuses are plausible or believable, especially once her parents started trying to make contact.

You read Fox which has been prove wrong. They DID NOT find the items. The police did. Also, the police have been asking them to join them to help the search

I stand corrected in that BOTH the police as well as Brian’s parents found the items which belonged to Brian.

Even if the cops were the ones to find the items, isn’t it still a little too coincidental that the items were found on the same day that Brian’s parents initiated a search??
