Reflecting on her recenty podcast with GD where she talks about getting her sh*t together, she claims that even with the progress she's made, she still finds herself in a quandary about things--that's understandable. To illustrate this, she claims she recently asked her friends, "What is the difference between state and federal taxes?"
FOR REAL?
Um, sorry, I don't believe it. She's not that stupid.
Her larger point about feeling alone and not having everything figured out is relatable, yet it doesn't resonate at all when she throws comments in that are not only contrived but serve a "dumb blonde female" persona she seems to find funny. And then follows with: "Just know that, darlings." Ugh, so patronizing and gross.
Yep, Glennon has also used the "dumb" hot mess persona over the years to garner favor with her followers. (She recently retold her completely BS story that she didn't know what "bring a dish to share" to a potluck meant, so she just brought like a serving tray. Puh-lease). And her ridiculous "THE soccer" "THE golf" "THE basketball",etc crap. Just talk like a normal adult. All this just makes it clear how insecure she is. Everything is a schtick and an act (being a "soccer mom" for Angel City, etc - and I love Jen Garner, but this is all so over-the-top for Glennon to get attention for being associated with famous people).
And Jen sure was in prime form on the podcast going on about how "smart" she is and how she makes "a lot" of money. Just classic narc stuff - has to be the ULTIMATE victim but at the same time also has to "win" at everything in life.
Jen and Glennon are hyper-privileged con artists, as far as I'm concerned.
