Agree. Also no hair extensions/cenrr part/waves, bloated lips, heavy makeup. Not a fan of their politics but she looks sooo much better in these photos than the rest of them ever do. Always so dressy and over-the-top. Clothes and shoes look comfortable but flattering! They both look good.

Agree and think the two white outfits are nice. The Good Friday mass dress is pretty awful. I do wonder what she’s thinking at that mass. I think it’s mostly in Latin and Good Friday mass is a looooong one — I think it’s then followed by a procession from the Vatican to palladium hill but maybe they didn’t join for that. As a non Catholic and non Christian whose husband converted after they were married with kids, she probably feels a little bait and switched.

The Good Friday dress is too big. If it were tailored to fit properly, it would not look so bad.

It’s also very casual. It looks like a swim coverup to me. I think she thought it would be hot so opted for something in a lightweight fabric but it’s just a miss. I’m not sure what I’d wear for a 2 hour religious service indoors on a day when the weather outside is quite hot, though. I feel like this one is not an easy assignment.
PS does everyone remember when Trump took Hope Hicks to meet the pope instead of Sean Spicer, whose one wish in life was probably to meet the pope on an official state visit? There were a lot of comments on this thread because most didn’t know who hicks was an were asking who the brunette in the black mantilla was. As I recall, Melania opted for something really conservative and severe, with a really prominent mantilla, while Hicks opted for black short sleeves (a no no for Vatican protocol) plus the mantilla.

I'm not sure it's super casual. It looks to be silk. It's the poor fit that makes it look like a swim coverup. If the waist and bust were nipped in, it would look dressier.

Not the poster you were responding to but IMO it doesn't look like silk at all. ruffles on the bottom look a little too stiff. It looks cotton. Let me check her creepy fan accounts on IG and see if they identified it yet and I'll get back to you LOL.

They don't have any IDs on the dress yet and I'm sick of looking at pictures of these aholes. Sorry I came up disproportionately short, just like Usha's torso in that dress.

Look you can buy it off Ebay - ba&sh anissa dress - https://www.ebay.com/itm/316131493505

It's the kind of dress I wear as a coverup to the pool, when I know I need to run errands afterwards. Not what I'd wear to St Peter's for the front row at Good Friday services.

I'm the silk PP. I stand corrected. This is a terrible choice regardless of tailoring. Like something I might have done in college when I didn't have a lot of money or options.

I am the poster who said I thought it was cotton and you would be forgiven for assuming it was silk, because it's beyond stupid that an educated 40 year old woman thought it was appropriate to wear a casual peasant-style dress to the Vatican on one of the most important days of the liturgical year.

Nice that Usha supported a brand committed to DEI!

We are pleased to share with you our Gender Equality Index, which is 63%. The role of this index is to measure our efforts to promote equality between women and men within companies, calculated on the basis of 5 criterias.

We wish to further improve this score in the coming years. To achieve this, we are committed to continuing to cultivate our values and our policy of professional equality among our employees at all stages, from the moment they are recruited and throughout their working life within our company.

I thought she bought it from Amazon, no snark, I am serious.

Because she makes expensive clothes look sloppy with her commitment to bad accessorizing, unkempt hair, and never getting anything tailored.

The dress is so bad I feel like she saw it and was like "Meh. It's black and that's good enough for Good Friday at the Vatican." I know she isn't Catholic but come on. Really? Nothing about that dress is appropriate for the Vatican.

It's also insane she would turn to a brand whose identity is "French Bohemianism" to find something for Mass at the Vatican.

She personally looks fantastic but that bathing suit is hideous. I think maybe I'd like it in a different color but I agree with whoever said the bottom looks like a diaper. And I usually love high waisted on tall/thin women. Not sure what's going on here.

What’s going on? It’s a split second action shot.

She looks like a crypt keeper. Poor Pope Francis is probably still so out of it from his health problems that he thought she was the Ghost of Easter Past and waiting until after Mass to collect his soul.
