While hiring a lawyer + deciding against speaking publicly is their fundamental right - morally they should have responded to Gabby’s parents and let them know what they knew.

By doing this, they only made themselves look bad.

We don’t know what their relationship was like with the Petito family, or how they were being approached. As long as we’re assuming that the Laundries were stone cold, why not assume that the Petitos were threatening them? We don’t know enough about any of this to pass well informed judgment.

This. Plus, the Laundrie’s could have reasonably believed that their son was being abused by Gabby and he ran away and was trying to cut communication. He had an order from the cops showing him as the victim from the August incident and there is a public police report from a witness describing Gabby as punching Brian. There is also the video recording of a witness saying the same

Gabby was stangled for 4 to 7 minutes. Just stop with this B.S.
