To be fair though, there were three tiers in each bracket. Top 4 seeded teams, next 4, then 9-12. The opponents were different for each of those teams.

Same setup for every 12-team bracket.


So VDA being 2-1 in tier 9-12 isn’t bad. And NVA being 3-0 in tier 5-8 is great.
