If you didn't think you were doing anything illegal, you wouldn't be negotiating a pardon ahead of time.
They were just tourists.
Boebert's "the speaker has left the Chamber" tweet now becomes a felony of her communication with the insurrectionists is proven.
I’ve lost hope that any repercussions will fall on any elected official. It’s been almost a year. We’re stressing over key elections that should not be close and would not be close if those who know the truth about how corrupt the GOP really is, did something about it. As it is, Trump is still polling great with GOP voters. Makes me sick.
At least the GOP itself shrinks every day.
But moderates don’t like the Dems right now, and that won’t change in a year.
And then there’s redistricting….
2022-26 will be sad times for America.

They further claim they were in meetings with : M T Greene. "Along with Greene, the conspiratorial pro-Trump Republican from Georgia who took office earlier this year, the pair both say the members who participated in these conversations or had top staffers join in included Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.), Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), and Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas)." A third informant met with Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. This info has already been communicated to the Commision. The article says the three met with the reporter over a period of weeks and say they attended "dozens" of meetings with the people listed above.

Several news organizations are carrying this story today but crickets from DCUM.

Both of these are incredibly shocking. There really are double standards everywhere.
I don’t get what the military is waiting for in regards to Michael Flynn. That one guy who just got court martialed was a damn nobody, and he hadn’t accumulated anywhere near the volume evidence of actual sedition that Flynn has; what gives?
And indeed, AT&T should be broken up into pieces.
I agree.
Today the full House is voting whether to hold Bannon in contempt. I’m not sure what time that is happening. Tik Tok. I bet Bannon is on his Chinese billionaire benefactor’s yacht in international waters as we speak.
Vote all Dems and 2 GOP party of treason. The referral will be sent.
Not that Merrick Garland will do anything he is not the right person for the job. One can only hope he finally does his job. UGH
Garland got chewed up and spit out today. So glad he was never put on the SC
I don't know why Democrats persist in thinking that iputting Republicans (e.g., Comey, Mueller) or moderate Democrats/Independents (Garland) in key positions where their integrity and reputations have to be unassailable is going to garner support from Republicans. Just put someone in there who doesn't GAF about appearing impartial and get the job done! That's what Republicans always do!
He should have appointed Preet Bharara as AG.
