Actually it is. Pls list out which practices have this policy.
Pavilion Pediatrics. Catonsville Primary Care. Catonsville Pediatrics. JHCP (at least I believe so. Multiple locations.) These are off the top of my head from where my kids go and where my friends kids go. All Baltimore County.
Any practice that requires a non-FDA approved vaccine is not a good practice.
Wrong. Very sought after specialist require this. Fact.
Someone should sue them out of existence. Their arrogance is demanding people take a vaccine approved for only emergency use in order to see them. They took an oath of ‘do no harm’ and are violating that.

Right now. This will soon stop as soon as Pfizer’s therapeutic hits the market because that stops the pandemic in its tracks.
The policy is being used as a carrot/stick and in a lot of cases, the practices are getting pressure from medical association and threats to their licensing.

Are you joking? Most pediatricians have this policy. Like, call any of them.
You’re talking about pediatric vaccines that have been around for years, correct? That’s an entirely different conversation than what we are speaking about on this thread .... which is the yet to be FDA authorized vaccine .... your pediatrician that requires it’s young patients to be vaccinated is different entirely. Unless they are currently asking the parents if they are covid 19 vaccinated, this is a pointless comment in this moment.
Not correct. Pediatricians will require it when it is approved. I know if at least one specialist that already requires covid vax for any patient 16 and up. And is not amused..at all...about patients trying to cheat. Will not tolerate it and will not see these patients.
And when there are therapeutics available, those doctors will either find themselves in court or will lose patients. Because at that point, Covid becomes no more dangerous than flu.

Are they upset? They seem to be fine with it.
Thing is, you're full of imagination of what will "happen". No business will thrive if they turn away ~40% of potential patrons. You can huff and puff and use threats, but it simply won't influence what will happen. None of us actually knows. I can assure you I sure as sh1t will not turn away customers, nor will I refuse their money.
You are misunderstanding. It is likely you can not make both groups happy nor necessarily retain both groups as customers. If establishment A demands patrons be vaccinated and establishment B does not care....all the vaccinated customers may choose to patronize establishment A. A gets the 60 percent, B gets the 40 percent. make your choice.
