I doubt she knew about the CP investigation. She probably thought this was all connected to the fraud investigation (which it probably originally was). He still has financial crimes lawyers. He has to have done more than just "download" child porn. Disgusting yes, but not fed-worthy. At the very least he must have distributed, possibly made.

There is no "okay" form of child pornography, but the fact that Josh was actively searching out pornography of kids under 12 makes me much more concerned about his children.
