Why do you think the privates have an advantage over publics -- simple, they can accept who they want, players can transfer where they want. In publics unless you have an acception you cannot transfer to another public without sitting out a year. If publics had an open transfer policy they could build just as competitive of teams. Private parents can't have it both ways. Don't come on a board bragging about how good you are then turn around and cry over kids transferring. Those who choose to attend privates need to understand the high school transfer portal means there is no guarantee for your DD. May not be the best look for a coach or school, but you know what you are signing up for.
Good Godfrey - It’s “exception” not “acception”. Also there is no such thing as a “highschool transfer portal” so just knock it off.
Your entire premise is stupid. Equating a private school’s ability to choose who they accept and the random lacrosse player switching schools before her very last year is the epitome of a false equivalency. What a crock of bs.

Also that junior defender is likely not staying either. Apparently FH didn’t handle COVID very well and some families are not happy.
It is crazy and ridiculous to switch schools for just your senior year so you can “win a state championship.” Are you kidding here? Anyone with a sense of right and wrong would know that. Your excuses for this - laughable. The tuition - not that much difference. The ‘22 class at SSSAS is thin on Capital players - it’s why there is even room for them. KJ knows next year is going to be a bad one ergo the transfers. Funny part is it is directly from Sofield’s playbook, a move that all the SSSAS people made such a stink over when it happened to them not so long ago.
