Is this supposed to be some kind of evidence of FCV’s greatness? Because they were lucky enough to have a talented player living in their midst that they could recruit? Do you really think she wouldn’t have gone to UNC and excelled there if she played for another club?

The point is she wouldn’t have played for another club. The wand chooses the wizard, Harry.

Oh but she did. Ashburn Soccer Club picked her, there was no FCV back then. And her coaches that coached her are long gone. And she only played ECNL no DA/GA. But she played HS soccer and ODP in addition to NT duties and club.

So really how much credit do current FCV coaches get? Zero.

LMAO. And what did Ashburn Soccer Club become circa 2012ish? FCV. How absurd are these responses. She played FCV ECNL during the years that counted and didn’t consider the alternatives.

They became FCV-Ashburn and stole Ashburn fields (Bles), coaches and players. Around 2014 or so

Was this after they did the exact same thing (stole fields, coaches, players and in this case teams) to the Girls SYA Soccer program?

This location was after FYPC and SYA.

This is when they got Evergreen and planned to take over the world with the Annandale, Ashburn and South County merger. It’s the only reason they got access to Bles.

It was more like 2012-2013. The ASC coaches stayed with the rec program and a few were booted. The higher level teams and travel teams had new coaching come in, people who had relationships with Terry, who oversaw the whole thing. FCV and ASC are two entirely different things, and Emily played for FCV for her HS years. People on this board are funny.

Revisionist history. The person that use to train her was a Ashburn coach who got absorbed by FCV and then...I’ll let you figure it out

My kids played back then and the previous post was accurate. Get a life.

So did mine. Tell me what’s wrong in my post

Krieger played youth soccer for the Prince William Sparklers, where she was coached by her father for 12 years.[5] She played with the team from age seven to 19 and was one of the eight players that stayed with the Sparklers for the entire twelve-year run.[4]

In high school, Krieger spent one year at Hylton High School before transferring to newly opened Forest Park High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. At Forest Park, she was a three-year team captain, led her team to their first undefeated regular season and was a three-time, first-team all-district player. She was twice named an All-Virginia AAA selection and was an All-Met Honorable mention during her sophomore year. During her junior and senior years, she was a first-team All-Met selection and as a senior was named The Washington Post's Player of the Year, Krieger was also honored as Gatorade's Virginia Player of the Year in her final year at Forest Park.
