If no fall season payments stop and the due dates are shifted to begin in January, not end in January.
Hope for a spring season at least, at discounted rate since there would not have been any tournaments.

It’s a business not a charity.

I get wanting a refund if you sign up now and fall does not happen, but I also understand a club needing to survive. So where does that leave us? That leaves us reading what they offer and making a decision. Sign up for rec, skip soccer for a season, or sign up for a club and know the fall may look different than what we are used to or worse case scenario, could be an app again. Also not sure why if falls does not happen that would be their fault. They have to follow the dictated guidance. That makes 0 sense to imply they have any control. They clearly want to open and play. Make a choice given the info we have now or don’t and wait and try and sign up later or just don’t sign up. We bear responsibility here too to be informed and take responsibility for our choices. Spring was something no one could predict but we all know fall is a huge risk. I just can’t fault them for trying to survive just like camps aren’t cancelling hanging on to hope that they can open in some form in July and August.

Spoken like a true club administrator LOL

It does not say that it covers covid. It only list like medical, dismissal and moving. Is there a change?

lol. just dont sign up.

It doesnt have to be so black and white. There is a middle ground here yet BSC wants to be tight lipped about it.

Exactly PP that’s my point. If they don’t like it don’t sign up.

Just don't sign up. If they fail, then so be it. There are other options.

So if they say hey we will refund you all in fall if we can’t play that is what you want? If that means they fold as a club how can they say that? And I totally get people signing up is how they show support for the club. I just want to see what people think are the best alternatives to both balance families and the club survival. What is reasonable here? Nobody wants to pay 3k for a dang app. So what, maybe refunds for tournaments? Refunds for what else? And when? I just don’t know what the solution is.

whos saying its in their control? lol. Not a single person.

But to completely ignore the possibilities is bad business. Give reassurances that those that have PAID FOR A SERVICE will get that service.

Paying 3k for league play, tournaments, weekly training ett= when there is no league play, tournaments and weekly training how do you expect to still pay 3k for that?

What possible reassurance could any club reasonably give?

That we arent locked in for a 3k pricetag for a service they cant give?

But hey! Registration is $300 instead of $400 initial payment. lol
