I’m curious if the lights bleed or glared into your house or windows, cause any issues on I-270/Falls Road, or anything else?
I live near Wootton. I can hear their marching band and Friday night football games and the announcer *very* clearly until sometimes almost 10pm, when my kids are asleep. It's noise pollution. Should I complain to MCPS and the city?
you moved near a school that has been doing that for decades. too bad your kids are sleeping, soon your kids will be those kids at the school.
No, because of boundary changes, my kids can not walk to middle school Frost or high school at Wootton. They have to be bused to Richard Montgomery a few miles away unfortunately. They needed higher SES levels and we were the neighborhoods to go. Walkers that are now bused to a subpar school.

Did you consider that the PP was being sarcastic or asking in jest?
no, because in our neighborhood by B-CC which didn't have home games for 3 years just started having them and now people want to eliminate the noise and the school newspaper did a great job making fun of them with great articles that actually seemed real but were a total joke
people are such a pain in the A** . and think that they live in the country instead of a booming urban area. the more noise, the louder the band, the bigger the crowd, the better the school spirit.
Maybe the screaming you hear is the players complaining about the field? The students hate this field. But adults are happy to have children suffer as long as it is to secure their future success as soccer professionals.

Have you considered the possibility that they just can't wake up? They're so dead tired from being kept up all night by the bright lights. Their kids probably missed school today and the birds are all asleep because of the confusing day/night cycle.

Hahaha!!! You’re right on.
Once Julius West field is officially open, we should do a Facebook post and get thousands of people to do a “Storm Rose Hill” similar to the “Storm Area 51”.
Hahaha!!! You are completely wrong! Why don't you do a Facebook post now and get all the neighbors to explain to you their ongoing concerns since you are having trouble caring that anyone has a thought about this.
Their ongoing concerns? Such as being: bitter, desperate, sour, ignorant, crazy. Let me know if I missed anything.
Able to vote for the candidates running for city council that get to make all the decisions. You missed that one. Rockville is a great place to live with responsive government. I feel like there’s a lot of jealousy from non-residents.
Rose Hill is a pit with postage sized lots and crappy schools.
