While I still think the nanny is great, I’m pretty sure I read the kids had a half day of school and it was always the plan for nanny to pick them up and take them to grandmas. Mom at two appointments in NYC and would meet them there later. When they realized she was missing, kids were already at grandmas.
85 year old grandma has filed for custody and has the kids and nanny under armed guard...

If they have 5 bags of trash filled with bloody murder scene clean up supplies then they don't really need the 25 other bags do they? At this point they're just trying to confirm where her body is.

Could it just not have been located yet?

They are currently searching for bone fragments.

Bone fragments? Why?
Did he have access to a wood chipper?
Ohhh sh*t. But if he did this WHY DIDN'T HE INCINERATE THE CLEAN-UP EVIDENCE? I guess he couldn't get back to the incinerator in time.
Search moves to a Hartford trash-to-energy plant. Sources said police closed down the incinerator overnight Monday into Tuesday to search inside for bone fragments.
She was reported missing very quickly, and not much time was wasted starting a search for her.
They really had a small window to clean up and dispose of a body
And yet somehow he and the GF were able to dispose of incriminating trash in 30 different receptacles AND have the evidence burned in 25/30 instances before the police could collect it?
It's weird because the CT State Police knew she was missing from the very day she went missing. How did they not recover all that evidence?
