Exactly, I know some members of Trumps base and they won't know the difference, as long as he declares a "win" of some kind.
He could even take the same compromise out that Congress came up with before Christmas, declare it "his" idea, and call it a win, and his base won't know the difference.
How elitist of you. My bet is that you don't actually know any of "Trump's base" but are basing your comments on the stereotypes you carry.
And, for those of you who say, "Walls don't work".....
Don't you find it just a bit hypocritical that before Obama moved into his Kalorama home, the first thing he had done was to create fencing around his home?
Not to mention all the other politicians that have walls or fences or barriers around their properties...........
LOL. Turn off foxnews. It makes you sound like an IDIOT.

According to PopSugar, a brick wall is being built in front of the house—a development that seems a bit ironic given Donald Trump's promise to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. Additionally, the garage is being converted into an office, potentially the spot where Michelle or Barack Obama will pen their next memoir.

As Barack Obama waxes eloquent about the supposed negative impact of walls on humanity, crews have completed the wall surrounding his Washington, DC home.
Grabien reports:
Sitting alongside German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former President Obama lectured the current administration about its immigration policy Thursday.
While not mentioning President Trump by name, Obama made clear to whom he was leveling his criticism.
“In this new world that we live in we can’t isolate ourselves,” Obama said. “We can’t hide behind a wall.”
But that’s exactly what Obama is doing in his Washington, DC and Chicago homes.
Crews have completed the brick and metal wall surrounding his home in the tony Kalorama neighborhood in DC.

Hmmm you dont know the difference between a wall and a house?
Obama's house has a roof! The border needs a roof!
Oh good, is the OHMYGERD poster back? This is about his level of discourse. School starts on Monday Jr... just get it all out of your system
The reply was suited to your level of intellect. Why did that hit a nerve?
Says the person who doesnt know the difference between a wall and a house.

Only if you want to keep unwanted people out.

How repulsive you are on your imaginary high horse. You know unpaid workers are already going without? Delaying medical care, paying for gas and metro fare for unpaid work where striking is illegal? You are a wholly worthless person.
It's really funny how Trumpsters managed to drag individual property fences into this wall debate. Have they informed Dear Leader about this? It could be their new rallying cry.

No. I have a fence around my property so the dogs can't run off.
Yeah. I'm sure that's why Barack and Maxine and Hillary and Nancy and Diane F. all have walls and fences. Sure. That's the reason.
If you don't understand the difference between a national border and an individual's property then you are beyond help. And does Trump not have a fence around Mar a Lago and his golf courses? Do the White House and Naval Observatory not have a fence?
Not the PP, but you've missed the point. These people have walls around their property precisely because they work. They may not be the total solution, but you dont leave your property unfenced/unwalled if you want to keep uninvited guests out.
Don't double down on the dumb. Explain how a national border is the same as an individual's property line.
No one was made the argument that they are the same. You seem to be the one making that statement.
Walls and fences however do work which is the point.
They work in the context of protecting an individual's property. I'm not sure who's been feeding you your new talking point but that's a train to nowhere.
They work in the context of keeping unwanted people out. Stop with the insults. you are really getting ridiculous with this.
Sorry if I hit a nerve. You're the one going from dumb to dumber.
Some limp dick jerk on the internet calling names isnt hitting a nerve with me. It just annoying to engage with someone calling you names without any substantive argument.
I should probably go do something more productive with my day now that I write that out LOL.
Anonymous wrote:The Obama example is a stupid one. Even if the Obamas didnt have a fence, anyone trying to breech their living space uninvited would be shot before they made it past the threshold. But it is a valid point that people who are physically and economically separated from ever having to cross paths with illegal immigrants in their every day life get to live behind fences, walls, and security. Their lives are completely insulated from the issues they berate others into accepting.
Many who cross paths with them every day (and Trump had one cleaning his room at Mar-a-lago) don't feel like they need a wall.
