I understand why Weinstein came out when it did. I totally understand why Spacey came out when it did. Moore? If he’s guilty, he’s gone. Pure and simple. If it is a fraudulent charge, we’ll see.
Why say "if"?
There is as much or more proof in this story as Spacey, Weinstein and trump.
Oh, I see the pattern.

Are you drunk or daft? Weinstein? Spacey? Hoffman?
Exactly - which makes it easy for someone who doesn’t want him elected to make accusations at this time.
Color me very skeptical.
So you'll give a pedophile the benefit of the doubt? No wonder they feel like they'll "get away with it." YOU allow it.
And, you will condemn before you have any proof? Two words... Tawana Brawley
How predictable. How long before you slut-shame the 14 year old?
I'm inclined to believe the charge, but proof is needed too.
If true, there were probably more, who will gather courage to speak up -- as they did with Weinstein, Spacey, etc.
Other than onterviews with the victims and others who corroburate their stories from decades earlier, what do you propose?
More women with similar or worse stories coming forward as a result of this article, with as careful reporting and investigation as is found in this article
That's ridiculous--there's already quotes from 3 women, their friends and some of their mothers. This is a very carefully reported article. For you to imply that their stories mean nothing because 20 women haven't come forward is the height of stupidity. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if more women come forward with similar stories.

I think this is being blown out of proportion. 50 years ago in the south women would get married at 16 17 18.

Anonymous wrote:Republicans - let me get this straight - you think it’s wrong for two adults of the same sex to get married but it’s OK for a child molester to become a Senator?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Sadly, I don't think this changes anything in the race. It's not like Moore was a squeeky clean model candidate and this is a bombshell that will rock his base.
The people who voted for him in the primaries will simply say this is a left wing conspiracy, blame the WaPo for digging up dirt, and go ahead and vote for Moore just to stick it to the liberals who they hate with all their being. They may or may not believe that Moore did these things, but they just won't care.
Shorter version: it’s Alabama.

The question you should be asking is why doesn’t Roy Moore?
You only check in if you are guilty. And there is NO comparison here. Furthermore, you can't even prove it true. It's a smear-job exaggerated from 38(!) years ago because he's winning. My guess is the Rs are involved as well. They've gotten as sleazy as you liberals.
