I don't know what's weirder about this--that republicans are complaining about people having wealth, or that the son of a millionaire who has lived in luxury his entire life is their guy, when somehow people who splurge in theater tickets are all that is wrong with America. You just sound like tantruming toddlers, not people who actually care about anything.

The point was to deflect from the Trump U settlement and the atrocious appointments.. Mission Accomplished.

They had a job to do - entertain.
They failed at that by feeling the need to deliver a partisan political message.
Which part of that message was partisan? That was a direct statement of their feelings and fears to the man who has been elected vice president.
They didn't challenge his legitimacy. They didn't refuse to perform while he was in the audience.
They did their job, and at the end of the show they used their opportunity to ask him to make sure the administration he is a part of represents them, as well.
Did they deliver the same message to Hillary when she was in attendance? No?
It was a partisan message. And, not appropriate.

After a grueling long week of work, the poor guy just wanted to enjoy some "arts" and relax. Instead he got treated with some political BS. They ought to refund his tickets.
If he doesn't want "political BS," would he have been a member of Congress, the Governor of Indiana, and the Vice President-elect? The guy doesn't know how to do anything besides "political BS."
That's his day job. No matter how much he loves his job, he needs to unwind. Can't liberals be a little respectful and give him a break on Friday night?
Not a chance. They're relentless haters, 24/7.
Trump is smart to be in NYC, as much as possible.
"Unwind"? Are you f'n kidding me? Heading a presidential transition team isn't a 9 to 5 endeavor when you've got 70 days and are just getting around to meeting with pivotal departments like State and Defense. It's an embarrassing disgrace.
Even David Axelrod said the Trump team is ahead of schedule.
