So there was either something he did that put the kids at risk or she's asking sole custody to punish him - or both.
As a child of divorce, I have no respect for someone using kids as a reason to break up a family. If there was "an incident" then you fix what led to it, with priority placed on kids maintaining a relationship with both parents. If you decide you can't move forward with that parent, you don't put out a press release stating the kids are the reason. It's a shitty thing to do to them.
She's asking for sole custody so she can dictate where the kids live and can move them wherever/whenever she wants. If they have joint custody, she can't do that.
If Brad contests the custody, she'll have a hard time getting full custody. She's not exactly stable.
I didn't say she would get it, or that he wouldn't contest (unless she does have something on him like the pedophile sex ring, which I do not believe is Pitt). I'm just saying that' s a reason for trying to get it. It makes life a lot easier if you want to move across the country or world if you don't have to get the father's permission.

Probably that he is involved in the hollywood pedophile ring that is about to go down.
This was my thought too. I guess we'll see.
Why on earth was this your thought? The stuff with the Coreys was going on in the mid 1980s. Brad Pitt was a total nobody until Thelma & Louise was released in 1991.

I also don't see how Pitt getting with younger Hollywood women without looking like a creep. I could be wrong. I just have trouble picturing him hand in hand with any late 20s B listers, you know.
He was rumored to be having an affair with Marion Cotillard. She's 40.

And that Angelina also has a drug addiction and eating disorder. Juicy stuff!
Well that's old news. Except to those posters who think she's turned her life around, grown up, gone straight, etc.
