SJC hired the former Landon offensive coordinator, who coached under HOF coach Bordley for a decade.

Great hire by Speaks as Johnny's offense has been stagnant the past few seasons.

The HoS directly overruled Bell retaining the OC from this spring? That's a strange move if you just hired a new head coach.

Who is this person mentioned during SJC's NHSLS performance last week? I have a hard time believing a new coach made an immediate impact at a summer event even if the hire is good.


Don't know about SJC, but agree with your comment on Bullis. Strange move, but this HoS has sensitive ears when it comes to parents. He know where his bread is buttered and will undercut the coach, no question about it. I know the parent who pushed for it, have heard him complain. Typical my kid should be playing more type of stuff. Unfortunate for the other kids, as the OC was very good.

Yes, NHSLS doesn't mean much but it does mean something. Coaches can build and experiment with new players in different positions/situations. I prefer it to club games.

As others have said, every team handles NHSLS differently. Deerfield, for example, makes a point of playing their new guys during NHSLS, even though most of those guys will ride the pine all next spring.

Flexing about NHSLS results just makes you look sad. It’s one thing if you’re EHS or SSSAS, but SJC should be above that.

A part of me thinks you wish these boys were older so they are technically legal so you can do extracurricular things with them. Imagine being this obsessed over little boys that aren’t your kids you post this online and complain they cheat. If I were u I would focus on why your kid is not good at the sport and help him because clearly this is jealously. #freakyyy

If you followed much HS lacrosse you wouldn’t even ask this question. The results don’t mean much. It’s impossible to compare teams…. Those that play committed kids, those that don’t, injuries, etc. A good showing is a good showing and fun for the teams, but that’s it.

Realize it is summer ball and doesn't mean anything, realize there was no shot clock, I know most teams are missing their stars and so and so was hurt and didn't play, etc. - but NHSLS is all we have to go on right now. So , that being said:

- SJC lost by 1 in the closing seconds to WRA who finished 2026 as the #1 team.
- Beat #4 Loomis
- Destroyed #10 Salisianum
