First he isn't a sports reclass as he was held back in Kindergarten due to learning disabilities/dyslexia. He recently turned 15. He only plays in tourneys that he's aged verified for. It really shouldn't matter because high school lacrosse is high school lacrosse and everyone has to compete against older and younger kids. Yes his club team is good and yes 6 of them are going to SJC and yes 3 of them played in NHSLS and contributed. Hope this forum can move away from discussing kids and focus on DMV lacrosse overall and how lucky we are to be a part of it and watch it. Let's move on.
Lame...chill dude. It did matter for a long time and now it doesn't. Good work.

Nope the old staff did. He joins in a few weeks. None of Bellistri’s guys are staying. New chapter for the bulldogs.
Offensive Coordinator is staying, at least that is what the boys have been told. Smart decision, as I thought he was really good w a limited attack and no depth in the midfield.
Update - After initially accepting an offer to stay at Bullis and be OC for Bell on new staff, HOS let OC go on Friday. HOS meddles in sports at Bullis a lot; here is another example. Agree with above, as I was a fan of his and what he did last season and how he coaches. Let's see who Bell can get moving forward.
The HoS directly overruled Bell retaining the OC from this spring? That's a strange move if you just hired a new head coach.
In other OC talk:
SJC proved yesterday they will be the team to beat next spring.
New offensive coordinator is already making an impact - great hire by Speaks.
Who is this person mentioned during SJC's NHSLS performance last week? I have a hard time believing a new coach made an immediate impact at a summer event even if the hire is good.

- SJC lost by 1 in the closing seconds to WRA who finished 2026 as the #1 team.
- Beat #4 Loomis
- Destroyed #10 Salisianum
