Nothing wrong with them either. In some langauges they drop the 'h' in the name
I even have a Fanny in my family tree.

Some spanish people object to names like Marika, Melina, Uno etc

I don't mind Mercedes but I don't think of the car. I think boho European.

I actually don't mind when people name their children after something of significance - whether it is the season they are born in, favorite color, family name, or whatever. At least it has some meaning for the family. Most cultures pick names of some meaning, rather than inventing names because they sound pretty. I'd take a Summer or Autumn or May over a Jayden/Zayden/Hayden/Vayden any day.

I bet the name Grayson originally came from a little boy whose father was named Gray - son of Gray = Grayson. So naming a little girl Grayson is weird, at best.

So the original is OK and a great way to honor you child, but everyone else is mostly naming their kids after the car so my point is still valid.

I need help getting a few points about names:

I don't get naming your children names of things, professions, hobbies... Would someone enlighten me? Why call a child Hunter? Armstrong? Case?

Also why name your children after a season, month or colour? Summer (seriously?) Violet (WTH?) June (LOL)

Oh and let's not forget honoring not very nice people... Calling your child Saul, Jezebel? Nero? OMG! Next people will be naming their LO Hitler!

And a last note: If you don't belong to a certain race, ethnicity or place please do your research before borrowing a name in a language you're not familiar with!

I swear all the kids in my nieces class have car names - Mercedes, Bently, Lexus, Infiniti (3 boys!)
All we need is a Dodge and a Ford and I can open my own carmax.

Naming all your kids (not even twins) variations of the same name: Keyonni & Keyon, Mikaylah/Mikenna, Carolyn/Marilyn, Kylee/Rylee

You do want your kids to get a job don't you. C'mon!!
