Same. My DC is convinced they’re getting in, despite all my efforts to balance that confidence with being prepared for the possibility of a different outcome. No dice. Won’t budge. I’m almost sick with worry.
PP here. DC was right and got accepted ED today. I can finally exhale. I wish luck to everyone. This is so stressful.

That sucks. Hard to get both in one day.

She's at a feeder HS for Princeton and heard about only one PU acceptance and a lot of deferrals last night. It's a tough year to be a high-achieving upper-middle-class girl aiming for a top school in ED/EA, I think. But I guess we'll see.
Every year is a tough year.

Yes, kids now post the results of their friend’s acceptances with a “congratulations!” I agree - demoralizing for those who are anxious. You have to have a spine of steel these days with special media.

Anonymous wrote:DC just got into an EA w/merit. ED is next week.
Statistically, the ED will probably be a rejection/deferral, but that doesn't prevent DC from being excited from friends who are hearing good news this week.

Princeton is always the most brutal during ED ime
