This man wished two bullets in the head of his political opponent and hoped that his children might die in their mother's arms because "Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy." There is no context. He admitted that he said these things and apologized in a televised interview. But apology aside, we know now that is what he believes. He is a morally bankrupt person and has zero judgement. He cannot be the AG.

I don't see how any good person can cast a vote for Jay Jones after knowing this about him. Irrespective of his opponent. We can't support advocates of political assassination because we don't like Trump.

The texts were posted. They were exactly what was said. There’s no context this is acceptable. The fact you are trying to downplay this is just ridiculous.

The entire phone call is missing. You don’t know what was said or even what led up to the conversation. You don’t know the tone.

Are you purposely ignoring the texts? And I might add that jones has not denied anything that was written about the phone call.

He could easily have been joking. Something that was in poor taste and still warranted an apology.

Anyway, my entire point was we don’t have the context to make a fully informed judgement.

Did you even read the article? They were looking for someone who had given his address as their home. They let him go. It seems the two people with him were taken into custody.

Yes, did you? The guy is a legal resident and they detained him simply because he looked Hispanic. He even offered to show his ID.

They had no right to detain him.
