In most schools, there is no safety issue. But there is an issue if they miss 30-60 minutes of instruction.
Parents weren't asked if they wanted or thought their schools needed this. I'm sorry your school has a gun/knife problem.

This. Same for my kids~they arrived at school 20 mins early. That should be sufficient.
And that's if you have control over it. If FCPS can't get the buses there in time to make it through the line, then they didn't plan this correctly. Failures at literally everything!
