I really like her but that is nonsense. This is not a water main break or snow day. Religion and that practice is a choice. In this case a choice a minority makes. They are not forced to come to school that day but changing the calendar makes that choice for the vast majority.

Great son is they are going to block three days around these lunar calendar holidays. In the spring that will be a huge burden. The days post spring break are incredibly packed with activities at all school levels. Taking SIX DAYS off the calendar to plan those is obnoxious. Huge burden on sports teams that have to get playoff games in during the VHSL calendar.
