This really odd. For some reason it has not been too bad recently.

It's because of the shutdown. All of October has been a breeze going in. Some days coming home have been a breeze, too, while others have been so-so. I even see the impact on my gas tank. I'm not using as much since I am not wasting it stuck in traffic.
