Yes, let’s all fight amongst ourselves for the scraps while the billionaires laugh and lord over us.
It is a bit ironic that the Feds are whining about their jobs when they rubber stamped all of immigration programs the billionaires used to make their billions. It's like whining about the slave masters that owned all of those huge plantations while bringing in more and more slaves to make the plantation owners richer and richer. Oh, but some day you could own a company and have an indentured servant.
Federal workers do what Congress (in the form of laws) and the President (in the form of executive decisions, directives, and regulations) tell them to do.
Whatever, as long as you are in MWE filing unemployment go to the "Advanced Tab" in the job search, select preferred employer then scroll down to general job categories. There should be a check box for foreign labor certification, they make you fill out all the check boxes just right for it to work, but it will give a list of all the labor certifications. I do this often and apply for any I am remotely qualified for. Be sure to keep a box of stamps handy, because they make you literally mail in the applications. I wonder why they go to such lengths to keep those jobs from coming up for unemployed people.
You can also peruse the USCIS website for spreadsheets on the green card LCAs. NIH as the site contractor had something like 66% failing rate for certifications for their staffing companies. There are other websites that have it in a more digestible form: https://h1bgrader.com/
This is the site USCIS performance site, you can peruse it and see how many interviews you have been to that were actually just LCA, isn't that like an illegal search. https://www.dol.gov/agencies/eta/foreign-labor/performance
I once found the exact title of a job that I had been fired from as government contractor from the same staffing company. I of course reported it. The email address is in the DOJ v Facebook link. Oh and they take my issue seriously. Ha Ha, get lost.
Neither MWE nor USCIS is part of DOL. What is your beef with DOL employees?
DOL sets the labor categories and certifies there is no impact on the native work market, they also require these secret interviews. This process has been illegally defrauded numerous times while the DOL employees were looking the other way. IMO these interviews aren't too different from an unconstitutional search. I mean the applicants have all kinds of lawyers and HR specialist. Where is my lawyer making sure they are asking only permissible questions? It's up to the DOL crooks to oversee this.

Slaps on the wrists, they're all laying off people -And- bringing more H-1b. Many companies are still doing the exact same thing, DOL, USCIS, DHS can each stop that practice, but they don't. You can go to MWE and search for LCA's, see how many come up that require mail ins. If it weren't for Trump they wouldn't have even brought the suits, and we wouldn't even be aware of what they were doing. I was completely oblivious to this going on under Obama, no I didn't go into tech to learn all the intricacies of a LCA interview, they have rules that they can't tell you it isn't a real job. They are just testing the markets. The government is standing there watching. IMO the government is both useless and irrelevant when it comes to protecting my job, and I am fine with them getting fired, they are of no use to me.

That’s a ton of money! Especially for people who mostly work from home. Eliminating tens of thousands of positions at $80K a pop is a huge savings. You Feds really are out of touch. That is a huge amount of money for the average American in flyover country. Just wow.
Feds don’t mostly work from home. Most work in the office. And how is it out of touch?
Anonymous wrote:Listened to Elon's interview on Tuesday. Firing tons of federal employees will lead to prosperity for all according to him. We already have 97%+ private employment, so why aren't we prosperous since private is so much more efficient??? It is more likely the getting rid of feds is for propaganda reason for the base. Base likes to hate on fellow Americans, and feds are an easy target. What will happen to MAGA if there is nothing to destroy and nothing to hate? Will they live happily ever after?

Yeah, but Boeing delivers an actual product.
