Exactly. Why would anyone give him another chance to f up the next crisis.
No thanks

Because in just 1,300 days Biden-Harris policies have led to the first land war in Europe since WW2, a regional war in the Middle East, crushing inflation at home, and 13 million illegal immigrants. We can’t take four more years of this.

Blaming Biden for Putin starting a siege on Ukraine is quite a take, given the tens of thousands of Russian troops that poured into Donbas and Donesk when Trump was president and Trump just let them do it without a word or statement.

The regional war between Israel and Hamas is also a result of Trump blowing up the JCPOA and then turning a blind eye to the West Bank cult illegally seizing private land from families who had lived there for centuries. Putting Iran on the outside of the world order was a HUGE mistake as you can see the Iranian vessels that had been check now have free reign.

Call her stupid all you want. She’s not. She’s a former prosecutor who has run a campaign with amazing message discipline— and discipline, period. It’s going to be an amazing contrast to Trumps rambling and erratic behavior.

Plus, she’s younger than Trump and much more attractive. I think the visual of youth v age and Trump rambling and her shrugging, saying she can’t respond because he’s incoherent and weird and looking younger and better is a JFK v Nixon moment.

She does not need to be policy heavy to win because Trump’s main policies are grievances and retribution. Her upbeat campaign will do well against that.

Plus, Trump is on his heels. He has yet to find a good response to her. None of his insults are sticking. He can’t even land a good nickname.

Maybe I’m wrong. But, I think Trump looks like Biden did in his first debate when he goes against her. Definitely think more people than normal will tune is.

What is her message though? Other than criticizing Trump and throwing out some grand ideas she can never accomplish, what’s her platform?

If she has one then she hasn’t made it public yet. Maybe at her first press conference this week she’ll tell us.

If you think she hasn't made it public yet, then you simply are not listening to her or reading her website.

https://kamalaharris.com/

this is her website. Where are her policies?

DP - thank you for pointing it out. There are no policies listed her website.

It’s ok. Who needs policies when you have joy? And her and Walz are just so nice…

They won’t talk to without a teleprompter. How is that nice?

Walz very famously didn’t use a teleprompter til he became the candidate for VP. I swear some of you just happily baste yourselves in a marinade of right wing propaganda and wonder why it stinks in here.

Let’s Be real. The problem isn’t with Walz. Rather, it’s that Harris gives the public a middle finger each day that passes without a press interview.

She’s coasting, which precisely how her aides have described her work ethic. Then there are her promises, which have shown she lacks a basic understanding of economics.

I fear she avoids the press because the empress has no clothes.

That's the same thing they said about Obama. And every Dem since Bill Clinton has been labeled a left wing radical. It just gets to a point that these criticisms don't mean anything except the candidate is a Democrat and you don't like them. That's fine, but it's not actually a real criticism. It's a preference.

+1 Every Democrat is the devil incarnate, each further left than the last, all are always branded “communist,” “socialist” or “Marxist.” Every time. There’s a reason none of the usual smears are sticking.

It’s not a smear. It’s literally a fact that she was a more liberal senator than Bernie Sanders who honeymooned in the Soviet Union. But in the past five weeks she’s disavowed the prior decades of her policies. Why?

Honey let’s get some polisci eduction. “Liberal” does not equate Communism, Marxism or even Socialism.

Go back to school and read some books and then we can have a real conversation. Lord Almighty

In today’s Democratic Party it’s a distinction without a difference.

Please explain to us what Democratic policies are "communist" or "Marxist" with citations.

If you’ve lost the Washington Post…

“But more to the point: If your opponent claims you’re a “communist,” maybe don’t start with an economic agenda that can (accurately) be labeled as federal price controls.”

She didn't call for federal price controls. Even if she had, it's an immensely popular stance. Something like 2/3rds of the people approve of price controls for basics like milk and eggs.

About the only thing it would do is limit supply and put grocers out of business. How would 2/3rds of people feel about that?

Not really. Food manufacturers have been reporting record profits. They can live with slightly lower record profits.

Okay, I guess we’ll all trust you on this one. SMH

That’s what is scary about the democratic ticket. I don’t think democrats care what Kamala would do. They are just going to vote for her. She has nothing and has no plans to talk to the press or hold interviews. Democrats are just voting for her because she’s a democrat, not because of her policy or future plans.

+1

Harris is better than Trump even without comparing any policies.

Only because she’s NOT TRUMP.
C’mon. Give us something to work with.

Being NOT TRUMP is perfectly acceptable when your opponent is...checks notes...Trump.

Millions of us were in far better shape under Trump's first presidency.
No inflation. Lower grocery prices. Lower gas prices. Peace around the world. A secure southern border and about 10 million fewer migrants residing in the US. Laken Riley and Rachel Morin and Jocelyn Nungaray and many others alive.
I'll take this any day over what Kamala has brought us.
So, it would seem Trump > Kamala

+1

At this point I’m probably going to plug my nose and vote for Trump.

+1 I cringe every time someone repeats the convenient new allegation that she’s a “moderate democrat.” Yet she was voted as the most liberal member of the senate in 2019.

Let’s talk about that.

Who the f cares? Most of these policies are incredibly popular. Oh, and the right spent years branding Biden - a classic moderate - as some kind of commie Marxist. You have no standing when you actually support a white supremacist fascist.

This exactly.

Prove your point with something other than name calling. The Biden presidency has been a rerun of Weekend at Bernie’s, with who the h$ll knows running things behind the scenes…my guess is a bunch of idealistic 30 year olds.

Harris formerly supported eliminating private insurers in favor of expanded Medicare. Not popular.

I can remember what medical treatment was like before Obamacare. All we have now are horrible wait times, shuttered practices from cumbersome paperwork requirements, disorganized patient care, and doctor/nurse shortages. No thanks. We don’t want worse.

It's really no contest.

You'll see after the 9/10 debate.

Her platform right now is just “joy.” That’s it.
