None of that needed to be in there. It was not a pride event. Contrary to some people’s opinion, not everything is a pride event.
Exactly - keep your debauchery inside the bedroom. This is about sports and athletic achievement, not a fashion show

They sent Colin Jost to Tahiti for the surfing competitions…

Right? What was going on? Did they just grab them off the street?
Anonymous wrote:I posted what seems a million pages ago that we are in Paris, amd were watching live. It sucked being in the rain, but the excitement of being in the crowds is amazing. We too were watching a lot on screens (each one of the dance segments was on a different bridge across the Seine, we were located in one area).
The security was strict, hundreds of police everywhere, with pistols (holstered guns), and what looks to me like rapid fire machine guns. No one got through without a thorough inspection (inside bags, individually wanded - my empty pockets somehow beeped, and I had to turn my pockets inside out to show there was nothing there).
It was a long, crowded ride home on the subway, but worth it and fun being with the happy crowds.
Unfortunately, still raining hard this morning, and will continue all day. Happily, we are attending indoor events today (Saturday).

Anonymous wrote:How did the outraged PP make it so far into the opening ceremony before turning it off? Was the decapitation ok? Ménage a trois also fine? So many things that would distress my grandmother in the first hour - I’m impressed they stuck it out.
Anonymous wrote:This was the worst Olympics ceremony. Celine Dion and the air show was great. Everything else not. The nbc commentary was horrible.
