I would eat this version because I don't like grapes in salads or raw celery, but I would eat a chicken salad sandwich using a croissant for bread

Don't listen to the weirdos here who freak out at the mere mention of mayonnaise.
I’m ok with mayonnaise and most chicken salad, but buffalo anything tastes like vomit.
It's a pepper sauce what is so scary? I'm going to guess you have a lot of food aversions and an extremely limited palate. You're probably not going to OPs home anyway.

Review: It was good, but not how I would make it. It had a LOT of mayo, which I'm not keen on, and the chicken was somehow both shredded and in chunks at the same time -- I think it best to be either/or. It had celery. Not sure it had anything else in there besides chicken, mayo, and celery. The "plate" had a scoop of chicken salad, a scoop of coleslaw (which was really good), some sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, and some kalamata olives. I did eat most of the tomatoes and cucumbers because I'm trying to force myself to eat more vegetables, and I ate the olives, because, well, olives are good.
I'd order it again. Maybe.
Your first mistake was eating at the Virginian. Your second mistake was not ordering the biscuits and gravy.
NP. I wonder if people who won’t eat anything that has mayo because it’s “yucky” would ever even try sausage gravy in the first place 🤔
I realize its contradictory, but I hate mayo and love sausage gravy. I think mayo is like white jello which grosses me out but white gravy with sausage lumps is heaven on earth.
