I agree that questioning jersey numbers is a bit nitpicky, but is is odd that his son switched numbers and began wearing the number of the long term best player.
But the bigger issue is that there was favoritism of certain Madlax players in play time and in certain roles. I won't call out numbers or positions, but if they really wanted to win, they would have made different personnel decisions. Instead they favored MadLax players. We went in with eyes open and my son had fun, so no harm no foul. But for this reason, next year my son will try out for New Balance and probably not waste his time with Nike.
Disagree that there was a lot of inside politics on the Nike DMV team - they picked kids from several teams and except for one obvious player all the kids picked were arguably the best choice.

Ok cab. Does that help involve subsidizing your familial mediocrity? Or is that an extra check?
Ok that’s not fair. From what I’ve seen from older and younger sons than this class, ML puts out quality product consistently, provided Maddux isn’t the or even a coach and his kids aren’t on the team. Otherwise it’s not worth the fees since you can get what he offers for a lot cheaper elsewhere.

how many different tryouts did you check out to reach that conclusion? and, are any teams holding tryouts this early? you sound like a troll, with a foul mouth, stirring the pot.
That said, MadLax is a revolving door so there is nothing newsworthy about players coming and going every season.
