Rochester and W&M seem to fit the type of school environment your child seeks. Great options though! W&M a fantastic in-state option for science majors.
Are you serious? CMU with the $37k grant.
CMU unless the 37K grant is very hard to get for the next 3 years.
WM next.

No! This is so much fun! It’s why we are here, to over analyze and distract ourselves.

Take Charleston off the list.
Why
I have several friends whose kids went to Charleston and dropped out. Or came home and did nothing. Obvs it’s beautiful, but you have better options.
I have a family member that went there and transferred after the first year, as did one of their roommates.

Business. Neither are direct admit
UGA cheaper.
DC will go visit anyways but always fun to see others opinions.
Also waiting on Michigan but very unlikely and $$$
I posted above-- wanted to add. UGA has no direct admit to business and Wisconsin does (but DC didn't get direct admit) and UGA has 2 chances to apply vs 1 try at Wisconsin. So it's a little more of a gamble. That being said, if they vibe with one much more, it won't matter!
UGA
Wisconsin isn’t particularly known for its business school. Too much competition from other, more prestigious business programs in the upper Midwest.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:harvard, yale, or berkeley for chemistry
All great options but I visited the College of Chemistry at Berkeley and it was something else. Just the fact that it has such a rich history and all the elements that were discovered there. The prestige of Harvard and Yale is obviously in a different league but College of Chemsitry at Berkeley is awe inspiring.
