And she’s a pleasant surprise, more energetic and charismatic than I expected.

I still also like Jordan and Keith too. I think it will depend a lot on whom she physically connects with. And later, what might come out about the person like it did with Gerry. Yuck seeing Gerry! Blech.
Yes to all of this.
Over Jonathan. He needs to button up his shirt and fess up to the qualities that made his wife want to dump him so abruptly. That does not come out of the blue. Also, he’s dull.
SO glad the petty tyrant Kim is gone. Humorless and rigid bothers me even more than selfish Pascal. At least Pascal is fun and has a sense of humor.

Even with his tarnished reputation, Joan only has half the Insta followers Gerry does. Fewer than Leslie, even. It's both surprising and disappointing.

I don’t think she has any attraction to Charles L either, but either the producers made her keep him or she just finds him sweet and easy to be around.
1. the producers DO make the lead keep certain people around regardless of the lead's feelings about them.
2. the producers do NOT let the lead (or at least Joan) get rid of more than one person of color per rose ceremony.
on a separate note: the story of the other guys taking care of Pascal's laundry and cooking (for a fee?) is mildly amusing on this show. But, in real life, this would SCREAM --- RED FLAG, RED FLAG, RED FLAG! A man who has reached his late 60's and does not cook ANYTHING, does not clean anything, and does not do his own laundry????????????
WHAT?????
First, how is that even possible since he claims he came to this country with nothing. When you are poor, you have to be even MORE resourceful than the average person.
Second, it is very strange to me that he isn't EMBARRASED about his lack of initiative, independence and self-reliance! If I was a single woman looking for a partner, I would NOT be looking for man-child that I have to take care of all the time. I want someone who is CAPABLE and who will take care of me -- not just throw money at a problem. I want someone who puts forth the effort to DO things for himself, and do things for me.
I don't know how Joan can even think Pascal is at all attractive. Sure, he's a nice-enough looking guy... but totally unattractive in other ways. Ick.

Chock is a fake and the way he kept saying, 'She's mine" at Disneyland was too much. Something about his story about his wife was off.
Pascal is gross. Charles L is sweet but I don't see them together. Gil is gross too and someone he dated asked for a restraining order. Does not surprise me.
Jonathan is too young and hot. He needs a 45yo, who wants to still raise kids since he has them!
Has he told her he’s raising kids? I didn’t see that. That’s huge.
Pascal is so gross. What a baby. Won’t cook/clean/do anything. I hope Joan sees right through him soon.
And I was not pleased to see Gary there, asking if she’s worried her Prince Charming isn’t there. Go away!
Joan seems so impressed with Pascal, really wants him to be into her. He isn't. I feel bad for her, but also disappointed because she clearly likes him for shallow reasons and doesn't get his very obvious number.
Don't underestimate how much she may do to keep the producers happy. It's a great storyline. Look at us here ... everyone talking about it.
But yes so ANNOYING. Why would the professors do that to us?
