Except perhaps for the very top GA players, there doesn’t seem to be an even remotely equivalent backup plan for the spring season, other than to increase the autopay on your E-ZPass.
I know this thread is supposed to be about GA, but the situation also is concerning for aspiring GA players in Loudoun U12 and younger who won’t have fields for the spring. There is a wide range of player / parent commitment level on those younger United teams, and I suspect many less committed parents will pull their kids out if asked to travel to TSJ. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of those teams fall apart quickly.

There is so much uncertainty across Northern VA right now and the swirl is causing a lot of confusion. For FCV families it will be nice to know if they are expected to drive to Springfield to stay with FCV or if VAR will indeed be GA and the girls will seamlessly move over to VAR with the expectation that some girls will find their way to other clubs. And if BP is really going to VDA what girls will follow him there from FCV. So much is unclear right now and with the spring approaching fast, it will be fun watching the swirl continue as clubs begin seeing new faces at their practices for ID sessions.
That's a good one, girls following BP anywhere. One of the most reviled high level coaches in the area at any level.
This opinion could be said about any other 'high level coach' in the area. Depends on the persons perspective.
Not really, BP takes the crown here for most reviled.
Not really. Only if you are Nick or Phil.
Getting personal here. As the previous poster said. Why don’t you just be honest with your players and families?
Maybe you should mind your own business instead of spreading rumors.

I'm sure the FCV families just want to be told what they should expect next season (and beyond). As one of the families that was directly affected by the DA imploding, and consequently left the club, the lack of communication was absurd. A lot of great coaches left after that, CC just left, and now BP rumors of potentially leaving is a lot to take.
Apparently that's a lot to ask but it's probably due to being afraid of the fallout. It's a business after all.
