It depends on the issue. Unchecked illegal migration over the Southern border has been devastating for many black communities. It keeps wages very low, it overwhelms social services, and it overcrowds schools with children that don't even speak English. All this disproportionately affects blacks more so than whites.

Blacks also tend to be more socially conservative than progressives - whether it's trans issues, abortion restrictions, gay marriage or drug decriminalization.The fentanyl crisis isn't just affecting white people in West Virginia. Lots of black families have lost loved ones to ODs, and they think progressive policies that decriminalize hard drugs like fentanyl and tranq are nuts.

I know a few black women who are carrying these days. Good luck trying to take their guns.

Black women and children are overwhelmingly the victims of violent crime. Absolutely no one in the black community is happy with the way things are going in the legal system today. Everyone wants violent criminals taken off the streets - except white progressives. The average murder suspect in DC has 11 felonies. Almost every single one of those prior felonies would have been committed against black people. Not to mention the murders themselves.

Democrats today - like Hilary Clinton for instance - are far more likely to send our soldiers to war than Republicans are. Democrats think the US military needs to be involved everywhere. Republicans are more inward looking these days. And of course there are many blacks that serve.

There are lots of reasons why blacks might not vote for democrats these days. They've been taken for granted for decades, and i think that sense of loyalty has frayed in recent years.

Trump is an urban elite and went to Wharton, considered an elite business school. He also famously stiffed small business owners who worked for him and has a history of hiring undocumented workers. What part of his identity, life, or work history resonates with US workers?

Sadly Biden doesn't even have to "bribe" them or give anything - the unfortunate reality is that if they vote for Trump they will move backward and have things taken away from them.

All I hear as a black voter is something to the effect that Trump will have us back on a plantation within 90 days of his inauguration. Portraying Trump as the Boogeyman is really not an effective strategy to retain or attract voters.

Most people would probably like to see changes to allow at least some standard allowance for abortions and caps to control the border situation. I didn’t say vote one way or the other. Just saying that most people would prefer loosening on abortion and controls on immigration. Unfortunately, neither party offers that. I’m not coming after you or LGBTQ+. I didn’t grow up in rural America or the ‘burbs where maybe you did.
