Sorry the truth hurts. What other reason would there be to sow such chaos in our government, to hold payments to critical workers who are living paycheck to paycheck, to our men and women supporting the military etc?

“The Florida Republican, who is threatening to force a vote on booting McCarthy if he works with Democrats to avoid a shutdown, approached multiple Democrats on the floor late Thursday night to discuss how they would vote on a possible vote of no confidence against McCarthy.”
All for show. No Dem is making deals with butthead.
They might just to get rid of Mac,Cathy. Then they nominate Jeffries and the GOPers who won their seats where Biden won would vote for Jeffries. Stranger things have happened.
Gaetz isn't getting rid of McCarthy only to have a democrat take charge.

That is a pipe dream. But ok, maybe it’s possible but Gaetz wouldn’t approve of this. He wants to destroy govt, not just Kevin.
