Stop making excuses because she's a wealthy, attractive, white woman just like you. This could be your best friend, your neighbor, your child's coach. She is a disgusting piece of shit who needs to rot in jail. I hope her ex husband had nothing to do with abuse, and that her children get help, and that the children that she has most definitely already abused are identified and given the resources they need.

Also, I doubt a mental illness defense will hold up since she immediately changed her tune upon arrest and claimed some dumb story about trying to entrap the perp (who was actually an FBI agent). She KNEW what she was doing was wrong.
Sadly, she only needs to convince one juror of this story. Evidence will need to be overwhelming.

I think it is possible they did not know about the cp or her paraphilias.
Although the park incident that precipitated the divorce is pretty out there and everyone knew @ that.
Prob some other relatives who are bipolar or who otherwise avidly chase risks. But even then this is a huge taboo to cross and she seems to have been at it a while given her comfort and the detailed suggestions she shared. Her kids appear to be in the same age vicinity as the girl in the ruse, just beyond horrifying.
At that level of society, it is often about sweeping the family curses under the rug in order to keep up appearances.
Hard to keep up appearances after the park incident led the judge to file for divorce and it hit the papers. Just because they ultimately got it dismissed does not mean it did not happen and I'm sure Richmond society took note.
No, I am talking about when she was a child. Surely she was manifesting signs of mental illness way before the park incident. It’s just that certain families are not willing to admit that they have flawed offspring.
