Here is another aspect of this case I find disgusting.....
Franklin County Municipal Court Judge Cynthia Ebner said the case did not warrant Fuentes — who is believed to be undocumented — to be held without bond.
Ebner said a high bond was necessary, however, due to Fuentes being a possible flight risk and for the safety of the child involved. Before being arrested, Huhn and Det. David Phillips collected a saliva sample from Fuentes, according to a probable cause statement.
Sickening. So, he can post bond and be out on the streets to rape more little girls.
This is just plain wrong. People like this should not be out on the streets. And, he is undocumented to boot... which means.... a flight risk.
In general sex crimes just aren’t treated with any respect. Two huge examples are the thousands of rape kits on police shelves across the country (many of them serial rapists who could have been caught before they ruined another few women’s lives) and the fact that those gymnasts went to the FBI to report Nasser and nothing was done.
The through line between forced birthers and rape/rape culture is misogyny. It is the animating hatred that powers many peoples lives.
He has a $2 million bond. He's not getting out.

I am so worried that this will result in her being outed, even just in her own community. How many people will be able to associate this guy with a 10 year old girl who recently took a trip out of town for a few days?
