Anonymous wrote:OP you should thank them on voting in the election and congratulate them for voting for the Governor elect! Also, (most likely) congratulate them and be happy for all of VA that voted in the first female POC Lt Gov and Latino AG!

+1 My favorite people are those who don't care about other's political leanings. "A foolish consistency is the hobgobblin of little minds." Open your horizons, OP, and the rest of you calling people you don't even know morons. You have no idea how much of the world you are overlooking. In other words, get a life.
These PPs are white folks who think they can have it both ways. There are so many of these types in my neighborhood. White men in particular but lately many white women too. It's sad because my kids are friends with the kids of some of these people.
Gotta nip this in the bud. You need to explain to your kids how literally evil their friend’s parents are, in no uncertain terms. Don’t sugarcoat it. Tell them who these people are, and who their friends are. Tell them you raised them better than to have friends like that.

I’m an independent voter and have voted for both parties. VA economy has been thriving under Dems and a bunch of far right social stuff will hurt economy and keep business away. Plus Youngkin has not loudly disclaimed trump or his lies about the election - therefore not a friend to democracy and not trustworthy, and CRT messaging from him was a dog whistle to racists.
I’m paying $75 for a tank of gas, my natural gas bill is going up by 30%, my water bill was astronomical due to ‘green fees’, which literally doubled the water cost. Tell me again about thriving?

Not sure R's believe more than one opinion (but I do think they are generally more pragmatic), but I do agree that the D's are the party of one true opinion..no doubt a D must be all in on every key issue

The party that loves COVID, corruption, and Q?
Republican elites are unamerican and they want to destroy the country to cut taxes on the rich.
I ostracize Republicans. Republicans are not welcome at my PTO meetings or my church group. They want to do things that harm my kids. Done with them.
Youngkin sign means immediate social rejection.
